Honest Pharms Co is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to play a vital role in the upkeep and smooth operation of our greenhouse facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe, productive, and compliant environment for our cultivation team. 

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our greenhouse operates at peak performance. You will work closely with our cultivation team to maintain an environment that promotes the healthy growth of our plants while adhering to strict regulatory standards. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to produce high-quality cannabis products while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on greenhouse equipment and facilities, including HVAC systems, irrigation systems, lighting, and environmental controls. Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently to support optimal plant growth.
2. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to prevent disruptions to cultivation operations.
3. Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks according to manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements.
4. Facility Upkeep: Keep the greenhouse facility clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Perform cleaning and sanitization tasks as needed to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts. Ensure that adequate supplies are available to support maintenance activities and coordinate with procurement to replenish inventory as needed.
6. Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the cultivation team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to cultivation operations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a greenhouse or agricultural setting.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment effectively.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to performing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
