Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage employees including hiring, terminations, managing overtime, addressing employee performance issues and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Manager payroll for department.
  • Handle disciplinary actions.
  • Order all tires, both stock and special order.
  • Receive tires into the McCarthy Tire system and let sales rep or department know when special orders arrive.
  • Contact sales reps when orders will not be completely filled.
  • Maintain and review tire stocking levels with the store manager.
  • Review DVIRs to be sure they are being filled out daily and report any issues to the service department.
  • Check that the drivers are loading orders correctly.
  • Review returning driver paperwork to insure it is all there and complete with signatures prior to turning it in to the billing clerks for invoicing.
  • Ensure that the required mandatory customer weekly/monthly spot inventory counts are done in a timely fashion and sent to the appropriate individuals.
  • Assist with inventory reviews.
  • Oversee warehouse cleanliness and organization.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment doing other job duties as assigned.
