Are you a 2L law student with an interest in personal injury law? Looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a trial-focused law firm? The Flood Law Firm is offering a 12-week, paid Summer Internship, where you'll work closely with our experienced attorneys, gain practical skills, and be immersed in personal injury cases.
As a Law Clerk you will be part of our legal team, assisting with real cases and seeing firsthand how personal injury cases progress from investigation to trial. Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, and memoranda under attorney supervision.
Conducting legal research and preparing case law summaries.
Observing client meetings, depositions, hearings, and mediations to gain firsthand experience.
Collaborating with attorneys and paralegals on special projects.
Participating in legal training programs, professional development opportunities, CLE courses, and networking events.
Current 2L law student in good academic standing.
Strong legal research and writing skills with attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Strong interest for personal injury law.
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
