What You'll Be Doing:
Provide Remote Therapy: Deliver engaging and effective speech therapy services to students via teletherapy.
Develop and Monitor IEPs: Assist in creating and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students' unique needs.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Implement IEP Goals: Work directly with students to achieve their IEP goals and objectives.
Utilize Assistive Technology: Evaluate, implement, and monitor augmentative communication devices.
Plan and Deliver Instruction: Create and deliver clear, focused instruction based on individual IEP goals and state standards.
Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep thorough and accurate records as required by state and federal regulations.
Direct Classified Staff: Guide the work of assigned classified staff.
Participate in Meetings: Attend and facilitate various meetings to address student needs and goals.

What We're Looking For:
ASHA Certification: Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
State Licensure: Valid state-issued SLP license in your state of residence.
Washington Licensure: Valid Washington state SLP license and Washington Educational Staff Associate Credential (or willingness to obtain).
Experience: Ability to address a variety of speech/language deficits.
Technology Skills: Current knowledge of assistive technology.
Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
Child Development Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of child development.
Assessment Skills: Ability to assess and evaluate student progress.
Instructional Skills: Knowledge and skills in using effective instructional strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Technology Proficiency: Ability to operate technology devices and software.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Reliable Transportation: Valid state driver's license or reliable transportation.
