Job Overview
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for a variety of material functions including the accurate stocking, counting, moving, and issuing of parts and supplies to warehouse and service departments. Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and enjoy working in a fun fast-paced growth environment.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the performance and oversight of all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, picking, scanning, loading, product allocation, transportation, and safety training.
Maintains all inventories, components, and finished goods to ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
Responsible for special projects and other duties as applied.
Set work priorities and direct day-to-day activities of 1 to 2 warehouse associates
Interfaces with central warehouse, suppliers, and field service to ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all material.
Responsible for maintaining a quality work environment including good housekeeping (i.e.).
Develop business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third-party vendors
Skills/Requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and assessment.
3-5 years experience in a warehouse/distribution center
Able to pass forklift and company vehicle certifications.
Hardworking and self-motivated
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb balance, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 250 pounds with or without assistance. Work is primarily conducted indoors, in a non-climate-controlled environment.
