We are seeking an exceptional SLP to provide vital speech and language services to students in the Yakima school district through teletherapy. This is your chance to make a real impact on students' lives from the comfort of your remote workspace.
What You'll Do:
Deliver Remote Therapy: Provide engaging and effective speech therapy services to students via teletherapy.
Collaborate and Support: Work as a vital team member to identify, assess, and support students with speech and language impairments.
Develop and Monitor IEPs: Create and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
Participate in Key Meetings: Attend staff meetings, planning events, IEP meetings, and other important discussions.
Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with professionals, parents, and the school community to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Implement IEP Goals: Work directly with students to achieve their IEP goals and objectives.
Utilize Assistive Technology: Evaluate, implement, and monitor augmentative communication devices.
Provide Focused Instruction: Plan and deliver clear, intentionally focused instruction based on individual student IEP goals.
Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a safe and supportive virtual space for student success.
Maintain Accurate Records: Process and maintain accurate records and documents as required.
What You'll Bring:
Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Valid state-issued SLP license in your state of residence.
Valid Washington state SLP license and Washington Educational Staff Associate Credential (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to address a variety of speech/language deficits.
Current knowledge of assistive technology.
Knowledge of applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
Knowledge of child development and the ability to meet students' developmental needs.
Ability to assess and evaluate student progress.
Skills in using effective instructional strategies and practices.
Ability to adapt and modify techniques and materials.
Strong organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using technology devices and software programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Job Details:
Location: Remote (Washington)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar.
Pay: $55-$58 per hour (W-2)
Caseload: 50-58 students with on-site para support.
Travel: Minimal travel (up to 5%) for conferences or meetings.
