Qualifications:
Must hold a Speech-Language Pathologist license in South Carolina
South Carolina Educator's Credential
Enthusiasm for working with K-12 students in a virtual environment
Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities
Develop personalized therapy plans based on student assessments
Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, language comprehension, phonology, fluency, and more
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' goals
Use evidence-based techniques to promote speech and language development
Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Document therapy sessions and progress reports accurately and promptly
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language needs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in speech-language pathology
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Experience with teletherapy (preferred)
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements (Remote Work):
While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse. You should be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and students. Occasional tasks may include standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
