The Strategic Capture Executive will develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies focused on leveraging the organization's capabilities within key contract vehicles such as the Army’s Common Hardware Systems (CHS-5), Maintenance Support Device (MSD), and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) consortium contracts. This position will drive growth by identifying opportunities, establishing and nurturing relationships with government stakeholders, and building strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage industry and competitive intelligence to effectively position the organization against key industry competitors.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage opportunities under existing contract vehicles, including CHS-5 and OTA consortium memberships, and proactively pursue new contracting avenues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key military, government, and industry stakeholders, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, prime contractors, and commercial aerospace integrators.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical experts, pricing, proposals, and operations, to ensure integrated solutions and cohesive proposal artifacts.
  • Lead internal reviews, gate briefings, and proposal development efforts, ensuring compliance and alignment with evaluation criteria.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies addressing technical, financial, and competitive risks.
  • Support negotiations with customers, teaming partners, and subcontractors, aiming for favorable terms and profitability.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve capture management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance effectiveness and win rates.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, Communications, Engineering, or related technical discipline (equivalent experience considered).
  • Minimum of 6 years’ proven success leading and securing captures over $50M within DoD and federal markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition processes, various contract vehicles (IDIQ, OTA, etc.), and contract/payment types (FFP, T&M, cost plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and partnerships within defense and aerospace sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration tools such as MS Teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred:
