What You Bring:

Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex IT projects and portfolios with demonstrated budget ownership

Strong background in project financials: capital vs. non-capital expense tracking, amortization, forecasting, budget reconciliation

Proven experience with both Agile and traditional (Waterfall/DevOps) methodologies

Hands-on familiarity with Planview, Jira, LucidSpark or Mural, and Microsoft Office tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead across technical and business teams

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field

PMP or SAFe LPM certification preferred, but not required if backed by relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:

Lead the financial and operational management of IT portfolios and programs from planning through delivery

Manage project budgets exceeding $5M+, ensuring accurate forecasting, reconciliation, accrual tracking, capitalization, and reporting

Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Agile teams to support delivery of high-visibility projects and ensure adherence to governance standards

Use platforms such as Planview, Jira, and Confluence to track performance and ensure accurate financial and status reporting

Provide hands-on guidance around both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies

Drive compliance with IT governance and risk frameworks

Recruiting on behalf of a global leader in cybersecurity, our agency is supporting the search for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join the client's Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team. This individual will oversee cross-functional delivery efforts with a heavy focus on financial management and strategic portfolio oversight. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to directly impact a globally scaled IT organization.

This is an IT Project Manager role supporting a cybersecurity company's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. The person in this role won't just track project timelines - they're responsible for managing large-scale IT programs with budgets over $5 million , ensuring both the technical delivery and the financials are on point .

They'll work closely with portfolio managers and cross-functional delivery teams to make sure projects are completed on time, under control, and according to internal standards. That includes managing project budgets, forecasts, capital vs. non-capital expenses, and financial reporting - all through platforms like Planview, Jira, Confluence, and tools like Excel .

They need to be comfortable navigating both Agile (SAFe) and traditional (Waterfall/DevOps) delivery models and must understand how to report status, track risks, and guide teams through structured governance processes.

While this role doesn't require writing code, it does require someone who understands how IT projects work in enterprise environments , especially those focused on cybersecurity, and can speak fluently with both technical and financial stakeholders .
