Job Description



Eventide seeks a dedicated QA/Testing Engineer to dedicate themselves to improving, maintaining and guaranteeing the quality of our hardware and software audio products. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with developers to understand the products, develop and execute test plans, and provide both practical and aesthetic feedback regarding all aspects of the product through the entire development cycle
  • Collect, verify, and report bugs and issues from alpha/beta testers
  • Automate (where possible), delegate (where necessary) and execute regression tests on products on a regular basis
  • Think outside the box to test/exercise products under the widest possible range of circumstances and configurations
  • Assist in the writing, revision and editing of technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and customer support material

Qualifications



Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with musical equipment, especially stompboxes, synthesizers and rack effects processors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical evaluation and troubleshooting skills
  • Python knowledge a plus
  • Experience with bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA) and revision control software (e.g. Git)
  • Prior experience as a beta tester a plus

  • This is a hybrid position - candidates will need to be in-person several days per week in Little Ferry, NJ.
