TheprimaryresponsibilityoftheProductionScheduleristorepresenttheCompanyinallproductionplanningactivitiesfortheplant.Thisinvolvesmaintainingathoroughunderstandingoftheentireproductlifecycleincludinginternalandexternalprocessing.Maintainsstatusofallpartswithinthesystemandadjustsasnecessaryduetobothseenandunforeseencircumstancesincludingbutnotlimitedtochangesincustomerorders,machinebreakdownsandqualityconcerns.Theproductionschedulermustbeabletomoveswiftlyfromonetasktoanotherandstayontopofallactivityinrealtime.

PrincipalDutiesandResponsibilities

• Coordinatethecreationandschedulingofshoporderstomeetcustomer ordersandminimumstockingrequirements.
• ProcessesordersincompliancewithestablishedCustomerService ProceduresandSOPrequirements.
• Verifycompletedshoporders.
• Responsibleforcodinglateshipmentsandon-timedeliveryreports.
• Monitorordersforecast,planproductionrequirementsandreviewlabor& assetneedswithplantmanagementteams.Assistinplanningand implementationofchangesasrequired.
• Verifyhoursandminutesareenteredinthetimekeepingsystem.
• Productionschedulingofsecondaryoperations.
• Proactivelyinteractwithcustomers/contractorstorelayfeedbackorinquirywithregardstoorderfluctuations,expecteddelivery,orotherplantconcerns.
• Participateinimprovementprojects.
• MustfollowallsafetyrulesandpoliciesassetforthbyOSHAguidelinesandtheCompanypoliciesandproceduresasoutlinedintheemployeemanual.
• FollowtherequirementsoftheQualityPolicy,ISO/TSsystem,and proceduresandparticipateintheContinuousQualityprocess
• Maintainacleanandsafeworkenvironmentandreportanyunsafe conditionsinatimelymanner
• MustfollowallsafetyrulesandpoliciesassetforthbyOSHAguidelinesandtheCompany,includingwearingtheproperpersonalprotectiveequipment (PPE)
• Performotherassociatedduties,functionsorworkasmaybeneededor assignedtocontinuetheproductiveoperationofthecompany.

Thefundamentalcandidatecharacteristicsandqualificationsareasfollows:

• Highschooldiplomarequired,bachelor’s degree in businessisdesired; stronglypreferred.
• Strongcommunicationsskills,self-motivated, self-starterandabilitytomultitaskinafast-pacedenvironment.
• Abilitytotakedirectionsfrompeersandkeystakeholderswithnodirect reportinglines
• Strongattentiontodetail
• FamiliaritywithMicrosoftofficeapplicationsspecificallyExcelandOutlook
• UnderstandingofthetimekeepingERPsystemorsimilarERPapplications.
• Abilitytobuildcredibilityandtrust
• Abilitytoworkonacross-functionalteam
• KnowledgeofvisualbasiccodingtoautomatefunctionalitywithinMicrosoftExcel
• Experienceandproficiencyinhowtoextractandmanipulatedatafromany database
• Abilitytointeractwithalllevelsoftheorganization,fromproduction associatestoseniorleaders
• Abilitytofunctionasateamplayerandbecomfortableleadingmeetings withoutauthority
