The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) is recruiting for one Permanent, Full-time Staff Services Analyst (SSA) position within the Business Operations Office (BOO). This position is to be located in the Sacramento Office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of these positions within the next 180 days.
The Acquisition Services Team is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to bring their contracting and procurement expertise to support the Department. The Sacramento Office will be relocating from our current Arena Blvd. location to the brand new state-of-the-art May Lee State Office Complex in Sacramento's River District by Spring of 2025.
A hybrid schedule of 2 office days per week may be required based on operational needs. During the probation period, this position is required to report to the office 3 days per week for training purposes.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Six months of experience executing contracts or procurements, and contract management.
- Six months of experience processing Procurement Contract and/or Purchase Orders in FI$Cal.
- Familiar with use of State Contracting Manuals and the State Administrative Manual.
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally with stakeholders, suppliers and managers.
- Experience with MS Office such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Planner, and Adobe.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
