Pipe Support Designer - $27-30/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Pipe Support Designer for a local Pipe Support company in Kodak, TN.

Responsibilities:

· Generating technical communications, conceptual designing of piping and component supports and restraints
Expert use of 2-D CAD programs (AutoCAD) to meet specified customer requirements.
Some familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III and ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code
Must be capable of preparing and checking 2D and 3D representations of hanger designs within a computer aided plant simulation environment.
Work with hanger Design Supervisor / liaison between CAD Techs, Project Managers, and other design personnel - internal and external to manufacturer

Qualifications:

· A.S. in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering Technology or a CAD Operator Certificate and 4+ years of experience
3-5 years experience in the design & drafting of piping supports and restraints
Excellent technical writing skills. Good verbal communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Shift:

Monday-Thursday (7:45am-5:15pm) & Fri (7:45am-11:45am)
Full-time
