Location: Muncy, PA Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour base rate, different rates for D/C, Evaluations/Reevaluation, Re-Visit, Recert/SCIC, SOC/ROC visits General Purpose: As an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with Interim HealthCare in Muncy, you will provide essential therapy services to treat physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and changes in physical function associated with our patients' health status. Your interventions will be in accordance with the patient's plan of care and accepted professional standards, ensuring quality treatment that promotes optimal patient outcomes. Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with physicians and licensed practitioners to evaluate patient function and develop tailored plans of care.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to monitor patient progress.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary assessments and develop treatment plans in partnership with patients and caregivers.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in alignment with physician orders and professional standards.
  • Regularly assess patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families to promote understanding and compliance with treatment goals.
  • Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and timely.
  • Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
  • Supervise occupational therapy or physical therapy assistants as needed.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy or physical therapy program.
  • Preferred: At least two years of relevant experience within the last five years.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficient with computer applications and documentation systems.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
Working Conditions:
  • Travel within the geographic area serviced by the office is required.
  • Work is primarily conducted in residential settings or facilities.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring patients.
