Salary: 112,450 - 203,275 USD per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related subject with a minimum of 8+, 12+, or 15+ years of experience, depending on education, training, skills, and experience. Experience requirements may be reduced with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related subject.
• Must possess an active and in-scope TS/SCI with Poly to be considered.
• Active/current basic CCNA certification.
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting Cisco appliances and routing and switching, including routing protocols.
• Experience writing scripts for Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Ability to work well individually and within a team environment while maintaining professional behavior with all stakeholders.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb 30 ft.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network appliances (routers, switches, and firewalls).
• Monitor the entire network infrastructure (LAN & WAN) and provide regular reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure network optimization and the completion of other tasks.
• Ensure network uptime, performance, and security.
• Document and enforce network standards.
• Manage and maintain IP addressing schema.
• Travel OCONUS as needed.
• Maintain the network lab in Chantilly, VA.
