Role Overview
Under the direction of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure high-quality patient care. This position requires expertise in MRI technology, patient positioning, and safety protocols while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Assess patient condition and adapt procedures as needed for quality diagnostic results.
• Evaluate lab values prior to contrast media administration and ensure MRI safety compliance.
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, documenting exam details accurately.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI technology for optimal imaging outcomes.
• Follow infection control guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain licensure, complete required training, and participate in continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Registration & licensure by ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT.
  • MRI Certification through ARRT (within 9 months if cross-training).
• Preferred:
  • At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Formal education from an ARRT- or ARMRIT-approved institution.
