IV Infusion Technician (RN or Paramedic) – PT or FT

📍  Liberty, MO (Northland Kansas City)
🕒  Monday - Friday (10 AM - 6 PM), Saturday (9 AM - 4 PM)

Position Overview

The  IV Infusion Technician is responsible for safely administering intravenous vitamin therapy and ensuring a  positive client experience. This role requires strong  IV placement skills, patient monitoring, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform  venous access and IV catheter placement with precision.
• Administer IV therapy, vitamin injections, and  monitor patient response throughout infusions.
• Conduct  basic physical assessments , including vitals and contraindications to treatment.
• Maintain  sterile techniques and follow infection control protocols.
• Educate clients on IV therapy benefits and answer basic wellness-related questions.
• Maintain accurate  client documentation and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Must be  licensed as one of the following:
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Paramedic
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of vascular access or infusion experience.
• Exceptional IV catheter placement skills with a high success rate in accessing peripheral veins.
• Ability to  work independently while providing excellent client care.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with  electronic medical records (EMR)and basic computer systems.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to  stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Must be able to lift  up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs assisted.
• Must have  visual acuity for IV placement (corrective lenses okay).
• General  medspa clinic setting with a  calm, professional work environment.
