Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Bensenville, IL or as a remote employee. If you have a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that reflect their unique styles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, needs, and budget.
  • Develop and present design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings.
  • Select furniture, materials, color palettes, and decor that align with the overall design vision.
  • Prepare detailed floor plans and specifications for construction and installation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure project completion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in interior design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

You should be proficient in:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CAD Software
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Design for Assembly (DFA)

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • CAD Software (AutoCAD)

Salary info:

$28.85 - $33.65 / hr
