Showroom + Interior Design Assistant

Position:

• Part-Time | Showroom + Design Assistant

Schedule:

• 2-3 days per week // Must be available Monday–Saturday, 8AM–5:00 PM*
• No Holidays or Sundays

Location:

• Crosslake & Baxter showrooms
• * Must be willing to travel to client sites and market events

Compensation:

• Discussed at the time of interview

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organized and creative Assistant to support our Owner/Lead Designer and team. This role is perfect for someone who loves design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys wearing many hats to keep things running smoothly.

• Creative Support – Assist with brainstorming, mood boards, and concept development.
• Project Coordination – Organize design projects, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Administrative Support – Manage schedules, emails, client communications, and orders.
• Product Sourcing & Procurement – Research and purchase materials, furniture, décor, and fabrics.
• On-Site Assistance – Support client consultations, site visits, and installations.
• Social Media & Marketing – Assist with content creation, photography, and digital promotion.
• Tech & Software Use – Utilize design programs (Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Canva) and office tools.
• Logistics & Deliveries – Coordinate shipments, unpack products, and help with showroom setup.
• Sales & Order Management – Assist with sales transactions, creating sales orders, and processing invoices.
• Billing & Financial Assistance – Support financial tasks such as billing and record-keeping.
• Showroom Organization & Staging – Maintain showroom aesthetics, arrange displays, and ensure a visually appealing space.
