Job Description



Champions School of Real Estate is searching for an experienced Instructional Designer to help develop content necessary for various online courses, and other educational products in the real estate, loan origination, inspection, and appraisal industries. The Instructional Designer participates in the entire content development process – from needs analysis, researching requirements, developing learning modules to writing and testing content.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
• Instructional Design: Understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles to develop web-based online training with a focus on creation and maintenance.

• Storytelling: Help craft narratives and scripts that effectively convey complex concepts and learning outcomes, ensuring clarity, engagement, and knowledge retention.

• Multimedia Integration: Collaborate with subject matter experts and other instructional designers to build and integrate curriculum seamlessly into e-learning modules, videos, presentations, and virtual classrooms.

• Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video production, multimedia, and e-learning to continually improve the quality and impact of our courses.

• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including, trainers, subject matter experts, videographers, animators, and stakeholders, to understand their requirements and translate them into effective learning solutions.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all content meets the organization's branding guidelines, quality standards, and accessibility requirements.

• Team Support: Provide comprehensive training, technical support, and troubleshooting guidance to the support team.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance the overall learning experience.

Qualifications



•4-5 years’ proven experience in creating, designing, and developing instructional content for online deployment.
• Bachelors in Instructional Design, Marketing/ Communications, Educational Psychology, English, Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in creating SCORM-compliant packages, along with skill sin web development, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with the Adapt Framework or another web-based eLearning platform strongly preferred.
• Link to Instructional Design or GitHub Portfolio required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-collaborative environment.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to write and edit copy, instructional text, and video scripts
• Basic knowledge of Monday project management system a plus
• Time management and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet project deadlines
• Dependable and professional appearance required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (candidate will work on-site at campus location)

Additional Information



Compensation: $60-$62k based on experience + Monthly Bonus
