To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add an Industrial Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Sr. Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Assist team with implementing statistical process controls
• Assist team in 5S Tool deployment and Visual factory (Standard Process)
• Managing validation and test runs and scheduling Reviews with team
• Working on manufacturing line to identify equipment efficiencies and standardization
• Focusing on sustainability initiatives
• Attend Kaizen and/or Six Sigma project reviews, follow project tracking to completion and provide updates
  
  

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

• Junior or Senior student pursuing Industrial Engineering degree
• Programming skills, data coding and macros know-how; strongly desired
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
• Previous internship experience a plus!
  
  

Internship Program Requirements:

• Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA
