Job Title: Extracurricular Teacher

Job Type: Part-Time, 1-2 Days Per Week
Creative Minds Microschool is a dynamic and innovative learning environment dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Our project-based, STEAM-focused approach encourages students to engage in hands-on activities and real-world experiences. We believe in nurturing the whole child by integrating movement, artistic expression, and individualized instruction.
We are seeking passionate and skilled extracurricular teachers to join our team and inspire students in grades K-8. This position offers the opportunity to teach a subject of your choosing, such as singing, dance, pottery, drama, golf, knitting, creative writing, or any other engaging extracurricular activity. The teacher will work with students 1-2 times per week, fostering creativity and skill development in a fun, supportive environment.
Plan and implement engaging extracurricular lessons that align with students’ interests and abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression and creativity.
Provide hands-on instruction and guidance tailored to different skill levels.
Foster a sense of community and collaboration among students.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom space.
Communicate with school staff and parents as needed regarding student progress and engagement.
Experience teaching or leading activities in the chosen subject area.
Passion for working with children and fostering a love for learning.
Ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Prior teaching experience (formal or informal) is a plus but not required.
Must pass a background check.
