Job Description
Nexmos Design is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events, including corporate gatherings, product launches, and promotional activations. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about event planning, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working collaboratively with a team to deliver exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and coordinating all aspects of events from start to finish
Support the Events Manager with venue research, vendor communication, and logistics
Maintain event schedules, budgets, and documentation
Help manage on-site setup, event execution, and post-event breakdown
Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure event success
Track event materials, inventory, and supply orders
Provide administrative support and perform other duties as needed during event planning
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field is a plus
Previous experience in event coordination or administrative roles preferred
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events
Detail-oriented, proactive, and a problem-solver
