Our client is a 40 year old company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Our client is a full service roofing contractor providing commercial and industrial roof replacement, maintenance and repair services. Our client promotes a re-roofing, new construction and preventative maintenance programs, provides high-quality roofing options to its customer base. Highly energetic team that promotes quality, integrity and safety.

The estimating position duties will include but not be limited to:

• Review and understand scope of work and project specifications from architectural drawings, specifications and other pertinent bid documents.
• Compute labor and material cost estimates and itemized lists of materials
• Prepare quotes / bids for negotiated Re-Roofing or Consultant Re-Roofing from field information.
• Assist in updating and improving estimating and bidding process to reflect changes in market and business conditions.
• Stay current with industry standards, processes, and techniques.
• Maintain good relationships and communication with prime contractors, owners, staff, and manufacturers to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years’ experience as an Estimator in commercial/industrial roofing.
• Prior sales experience in roofing and/or construction is a plus.
• Knowledge of singly-ply membranes and attachment methods.
