Job Summary The Director of Partnership Activation will manage the day-to-day operation of the Partnership Activation Department with a focus on providing our partners with world-class service and strategic activation platforms resulting in increased partnership retention and revenue.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Oversee assigned partnership service and activation for LPGA Tour partners
- Manage, train and supervise corporate partnership team members
- Enhance current partnership agreements with focus on new/improved activation platforms
- Lead and own all renewal conversations with partners while driving upsell opportunities
- Use creative thinking and industry knowledge to maximize ROI for each partner
- Fulfill LPGA Tour partnership agreements with exceptional customer service
- Responsibility and accountability for department revenue targets and budget management
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with current and prospective partners
- Manages all partnership deliverables (i.e. signage, print, promotional, tournament, social, digital, hospitality, etc.) to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are met and activations are compliant with policies
- Oversee mid-season and end of season partner recaps
- Utilize CRM as a tool for inventory management and fulfillment tracking
- Increase annual partner investments via upsells and new activation elements
- Plan and execute all partner events from start to finish
- Work with other departments to ensure fulfillment of all client deliverables/communication
- Strive to achieve company and department goals and objectives
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with both clients and co-workers
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications - College Degree (preferably in Business or Sports Management) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years in partnership marketing
- Marketing and promotions planning background
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
- Skilled in providing strategic direction, setting clear goals, and empowering team members to achieve business objectives
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Salesforce/ KORE or similar CRM system
- Domestic and international travel is required and must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas, and represent the organization with professionalism and credibility
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
