Role Overview

Chattanooga Florist is seeking dependable Delivery Drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of floral arrangements. Your duties will include routing and delivering items, ensuring all deliveries are complete, accurate, and confirmed. You will use our mobile app to confirm orders, add necessary photos, and update statuses. Additionally, you will assist with flower processing and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite, prompt, and committed to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Order Accuracy : Ensure orders are complete, order tickets match order data in our POS system prior to dispatching, and customers are satisfied before and after delivery.
• Dispatch Orders Thoughtfully: Plan and route deliveries efficiently by ensuring all orders are grouped in the same direction and considering any timed orders to optimize delivery schedules.
• Load, Transport, and Deliver Items : Safely and timely deliver items to clients or businesses, in addition to loading and unloading arrangements and items from vehicles.
• Confirm Orders via Mobile App: Use the mobile app to verify orders, add correct pictures, and update the order status to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. 
• Support Team Members : Assist in cleaning the design room, coolers, and sales floor at the end of shifts, and help the flower processing team as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Owns a smartphone and basic knowledge of GPS for navigation (routing provided through POS mobile app).
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
