  • OVERVIEW Provide direction for creative expression of the brand across all communication channels involving both employee and consumer touch points. Manages the creative design team to ensure consistent execution of the creative design strategy for all touchpoints at Sheetz in order to ultimately drive positive Brand equity. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) 1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities. 2. Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the department. 3. Monitor annual budgets for assigned area of responsibility to maximize profitability. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving actions. 4. Guide and oversee the work of artists, copywriters, designers, photographers and other members of the creative design team. 5. Create and maintain a consistent identity for the Sheetz brand that is uniformly executed across all internal and external touchpoints. 6. Work with the Sr Brand Design Manager to craft messages that deliver on our Marketing goals. 7. Service all departments' creative or design needs in order to enhance department reputation and Sheetz brand equity. 8. Apply creative solving skills to interpret a customer's vision and make it a tangible, deliverable product. 9. Lead development done by external agencies which are consulted and contracted for additional creative or design support. Accountable for the day-to-day relationship with external supporting creative agencies. 10. Drive for continuous improvement in creative design by studying, evaluating, and re-designing our collaborative creative processes. 11. Continuously improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and in professional organizations. QUALIFICATIONS Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, Art or a related field required
    Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a designer, copyrighter, art director or similar creative background required
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising a team required
    Licenses/Certifications
    • Valid drivers' license
