Athletic Massage Therapist for a Modern Mens Grooming, Massage & Spa at LGBTQ wellness center at W34/6 Manhattan. We promote body positivity / LGBTQ gay-friendly business. Looking for Full or Part Time massage therapists with flexible schedules who are willing to work both weekend and weekday shifts. You must be an experienced Athletic Massage Therapist with a great knowledge of a body muscle, relaxing massage, sport and deep tissue modulars. With a competitive hourly salary range of $50 - $85 plus great tips. Responsibilities:

• Prepare the massage table and necessary products to apply to the client’s skin & neatly clean the treatment room after each client.
• Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment
• Offer supplementary services or products that complement the client’s treatment plan
• Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a massage therapist
• Specialized training in swedish, sports, deep tissue massage techniques
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to sports injuries and recovery
• Excellent communication skills with athletes and high end diverse multicultural clients
• US Work Authorization
