An Aircraft Maintenance Publications Lead job is currently available at Belcan in Tukwila, WA. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or other related experience, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Onsite support at Tukwila facility required. You will be a key team member that supports projects related to airframe inspection criteria and generating inspection documentation. *Tentative start date: March 2025* Job Duties: Many of the opportunities will include:

• Communicate with the customer to fully understand the requirements of given tasks
• Communicate task requirements to a team and train the team on how to perform/accomplish the given tasks
• Assign tasks and monitor progress and assist when necessary
• Review, correct, and edit tasks completed by the team, and mentor
• Conduct evaluations of assigned staff performance
• Conduct mentoring sessions
• Perform all tasks with the Team

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship only
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
• Understanding of and/or exposure to aircraft maintenance methodology (MSG-3)
• Experience with and exposure to aircraft maintenance manuals
• Experience with analysis of reliability/maintainability data
• Experience with analysis of engineering and supply chain data
• High attention to detail to be able to work both independently and effectively lead a team environment.
• Aptitude for computers and software
• Experience using office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment including virtual teams
• Self-motivated and highly organized contributor willing to help others be successful
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to be inquisitive and be highly communicative are critical to your success in this role to enable team engagement, team representation to customers and stakeholders (verbal and non-verbal forms of communication).
• Ability to travel periodically-less than 25%

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or master"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Experience with writing and editing manuals, particularly inspection criteria
• Experience in airline planning, scheduling, inspection, and/or reliability
• Interest in aviation and/or aerospace applications.
• Experience with SLICwave software

Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $80,000 to $120,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
